My Story

Born in Venezuela to Dominican parents, Elvi immigrated to the United States at the age of six and was raised in the vibrant borough of the Bronx, New York. As a first-generation college graduate, her journey has been shaped by resilience, determination, and a passion for creating opportunities for others.

Today, Elvi is an accomplished leader in the energy industry, a public speaker, panelist, trauma-informed yoga instructor, published runway and print model, mentor, and philanthropist. Throughout her career, she has used her voice and lived experiences to inspire conversations around leadership, inclusion, wellness, resilience, and personal growth.

Above all, Elvi is a proud mother of three. Whether leading technology initiatives, mentoring future professionals, teaching trauma-informed yoga, or speaking at conferences and community events, she is committed to helping others recognize their potential and overcome barriers to success.

Having transformed her own experiences through yoga, mindfulness, movement, and the confidence-building power of the runway, Elvi is passionate about empowering underrepresented communities through mentorship, advocacy, holistic wellness, and leadership development. She believes that healing and growth begin when people are given the tools, support, and opportunities to thrive.

Education & Certifications

Elvi holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Monroe College and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Manhattan College.

Her commitment to leadership and wellness extends beyond the workplace. In 2019, she completed her 200-hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training through Sweet Water Dance & Yoga in the Bronx. She also received certification in Trauma-Informed Yoga through Exhale to Inhale and completed advanced continuing education in herbalism, plant medicine, and holistic healing practices through Lit Yoga.

Additionally, Elvi holds a Reiki Level I Attunement, further expanding her knowledge of complementary healing modalities and mind-body wellness practices.

Through her unique combination of leadership, advocacy, technology, and wellness, Elvi continues to empower individuals and communities to lead with purpose, resilience, and authenticity.
